Yoga seems to be learning some techniques and then practising them to acquire siddhis. After this the so-called Yogi/Yogini advertises him/her-self to attract disciples & wealth. Then the life of luxury & 'love' begins.

Although the science of yoga is widely misused by individuals looking to make a name for themselves and profit materially, yoga itself is certainly not to blame. Yoga is not about acquiring siddhis or manipulating people. It is about 'joining' oneself to God, reforming one's body and mind to reflect Divine Wisdom.
