Thanks Shishya
My purport of being here is not to invite visitors to my forum, but only sharing information for the seeker. As you can see I am not linking most of the threads but only those that are vital and related to this forum
To be honest, I am here hunting for data that could be posted over our forum and more info on Arya Samaj _________________ Thanks and regards,

If you like, check out our main site, Arya Samaj 101. It's a short introduction to Arya Samaj and Vaidik Dharm.
You can visit it by clicking here.
I am also currently developing an extension on Sandhya. There are only a few pages up, but it is still worth a visit. Particularly the page on the Performance of Sandhya.
Shandhya can be seen by clicking here. _________________ Namaste,

We have added rgveda khilaa mantram in devanaagiri and tamil scripts
http://p068.ezboard.com/fsrivaishnavismfrm32.showMessage?topicID=9.topic
The advantage with the devanagiri script is that this is made in Mangal font hence can be copied to any webpage
By the way, why am I unable to open a new thread to the link forum?? Are you finding my posts offensive?? _________________ Thanks and regards,

Namaste Ramkish,
I appreciate your effort very much, but would you mind changing the link in the last post in the thread on Arya Samaj at your forum? You have linked to the page on Ashrama instead of to the main page.
The main page can be found here:
http://aryasamaj101.googlepages.com/home2
Also, please do not refer to it as the "Home Page" of Arya Samaj. It is only a small introductory site of my own creation. Many could take offence if it were referred to in that way. Please simply call it: Arya Samaj 101.
And, if it's not too much trouble, please rename the thread to "The Ten Principles of Arya Samaj". They are not really 'rules' in the normal sense of the word.
Thank you, _________________ Namaste,

Ramkish,
Regarding the Links Forum: It was an oversight on my part to let normal members start threads in that forum to begin with. I had planned on reserving the 'Miscellaneous Sites of Interest' thread for sites such as yours. That is why I directed you to post any further links in that thread instead of beginning new ones.
Thank you, _________________ Namaste,

Namaste,
Well! It seems like the request I made to note the source of the articles he was taking from us was simply too much for Ramkish. He has written me a rather angry personal message and requested that I delete his posts from this forum entirely. I wrote him back saying that he was welcome as long as he extended the same courtesy to us as we have extended to him, but I doubt we will ever hear from him again. He has already deleted all the publicly viewable information he took from our site from his forum.
Oh, well. You can't please everybody, I guess. _________________ Namaste,

You should know at first how to make a request.
You asked me to allow to post on my forum and I had given the link which I had requested my friend to post and asked you to open new threads as you feel like in philosophy section
To this our admin has written me a PM saying not to overestimate the welcome message and if events continues it will result in ban of my ID. This is too much for a person who just logged in and promptly gave links to the pages you had suggested.
I give links to my forum only to posts related to Vedic works and links, primarily because, data is too volumnious to copy, where in your 10 rules not even more than 2 pages, hence has an intro, it has been copied. Our admin could had sent a PM asking me to give add a link instead he sent a warning and comes back with the message saying you cannot please every one.
Arya Samajis I am accustomed too do not say one thing behind the screen and another before the screen. This is the first time I am coming across this.
If you really do not want the links, pls feel free to delete it and ban my id, however, you can post on philosphy section of our forum as when you feel like.
To all users of this forum, if you need any sanskrit material pls do check in on our forum and feel free to copy it, we do not want to be recognised for the work done, but want to spread idea religious works are available absolutely free. If you have a blog, do copy the stuff on our forum, giving a link to our forum is your choice. _________________ Thanks and regards,

I am not hiding anything, Ramkish. Nor was I being in any way ambiguous. If you like, I will gladly post the contents of the private messages we exchanged for all to see and judge.

Just so we don't get off on the wrong foot: I want you to know that I don't mind you posting a few links to your forum in the appropriate area. I also don't mind you having a link to your forum in your signature. I would, however, appreciate it if, when you take any content from this site, you give a link to the page from which you took it. That is standard practice among forumers and bloggers and is considered common courtesy.
You are welcome here as long as you wish to inform yourself about Swami Dayananda, Arya Samaj or Vaidik Dharm, and to discuss common interests. But please don't wear out your welcome by simply posting links and references to your Forum and stealing our content for your site. That is poor forum behavior and will get you banned.

Please, there's no need for anyone to overreact here. I simply wanted to make clear where you stand in regards to the moderatation of the Forum. I don't mind you posting links to your forum, but it is common courtesy to also contribute to the discussions going on in the forum - otherwise you give the impression of being a spammer. I'm sure you're not, however, and I would like it if you would still participate as a normal member in the forums.
Regarding the request that you link back to any content you take from this site, on that I cannot be lenient. You are free to take what you like, but please give a link along with the information telling exactly where you got it from. I do not think this is an outrageous demand.
I will not be deleting your posts unless you decide you no longer want to participate here. You are still welcome here.

That was the extent of our private discussion. And on the basis of these few messages you feel justified in insinuating that I am somehow insincere or two-faced? There is no discrepancy whatsoever between my behavior in public and my behavior in private. If so, kindly point it out.
| You wrote: | | To this our admin has written me a PM saying not to overestimate the welcome message and if events continues it will result in ban of my ID. |
This is something you need to take up with your administrator, then.

As I think is sufficiently clear from my messages to you, all I was asking for is that you link to the page where you took the information. That was all. It is standard procedure and one that I try to adhere to as closely as possible.
| You wrote: | | If you really do not want the links, pls feel free to delete it and ban my id, however, you can post on philosphy section of our forum as when you feel like. |
I thank you for the display of magnanimity, but, as I said before, I won't be deleting anything unless you no longer wish to participate.
| You wrote: | | To all users of this forum, if you need any sanskrit material pls do check in on our forum and feel free to copy it, we do not want to be recognised for the work done, but want to spread idea religious works are available absolutely free. |
If you are sincere in not wanting to be recognized for other's work, posting a link to the source from which you copied it is the best and simplest way.
On the whole, I think I was rather courteous to you. I offered that you could post a banner-link to your forum, and did not make any grievances about all the links to your forum in the few posts you had made. I simply requested that you also participate in the discussions here and that, when you take information from this site, that you include a link to the page where you got it from. That was all. I think your reaction has been far out of proportion to what was actually done.
I regret that this has turned into a misunderstanding. But I stand by my actions and feel that I have done no wrong. _________________ Namaste,

The courteous way of making things happen is putting requests first and then talking of negative implications when requests are not met
When you request for the link, there is no need to talk about bad forum manners and id banning etc, I do not think this is any way courteous.
I had given the link to my page where I had posted the data as an intro to arya samaj and I explained to you that the data is small enough for coping hence I choose to give the rules first and the link to the home page that has been given to me.
I also mentioned you can open new threads as you feel
I need not to tell you all this stuff, unless you ask for permisison to post banners over my site.
I did not expect PMs sound like warnings where in I did nothing to offend. Any warning issued with no prima facie offense is not courteous. Instead of sending that message, you could request for a link to posted along with the content and request me to post the links to your forum as a standard practise, that should be couteous _________________ Thanks and regards,

Enough of this, I had removed those messages posted over my site, as you felt it is not meeting your standards.
Request you to post on Philosophy section in the way you want it as I am not directly posting materials over my forum now, and seeking help of my friend to do so (there are some limitations on net over my office and that is complex here to explain) I suppose changes you request might not be carried in full. Hence this request. _________________ Thanks and regards,

I felt like these were very minor requests made in a courteous manner. However, you simply deleted the posts altogether.
I apologize if they offended your sensibilities, but they were not made in vain and were with good justification. I'm sure you would react the same way if I took a link from a random page of a Hari Krishna site and called it the "Homepage of Vaishnavism". That would be neither fair nor correct. I was simply asking you to make a few minor changes, that's all. There was no need for you to overreact the way you did.

Yes, let's please call an end to this foolishness. There is no good reason for it to continue. I ascribe it to nothing more than a misunderstanding. _________________ Namaste,
