Namaste to all our Members!

As you may have noticed, rank images have been installed on our forum. The image is determined by your rank, which is in turn determined by the number of posts you have made. The more posts, the higher the rank.

The current ranking system is:

Number of Posts = Rank

0 = Newbie
10 = Freshman Member
25 = Sophomore Member
50 = Junior Member
100 = Senior Member
250 = Silver Member
500 = Gold Member
1000 = Platinum Member

This may change over time, but I think it's good for now.

Let me know what you think! Very Happy

Freshman - Sophomore - Junior - Senior is the ranking system used in some schools and universities. I couldn't think of anything better. Embarassed

If anyone knows of something better, I'm open for suggestions.

Well, the problem there is that words like 'Arya' and 'Deva' mean far more than the number of posts a person has made.

I didn't want to choose rank titles which would give the impression of designating spiritual qualities. In the worst case scenario, anyone with the time to spam the forum could gain a high rank - which wouldn't be fair at all. I thought it would be best to keep the ranks related purely to the forum and not to a person's spiritual progress.

But thanks for the idea! It's definately in the right direction. Smile
