We, the members of the Arya Samaj Sindri, want to share our problems with all our well-wishers so as to collect their views and suggestions.

Arya Samaj Sindri was established around half a century ago. It is very rich in immovable properties such as a large atithysals, staff quarters, purohit awas, yajña sala, library, offices, prawachan hall, etc. spread over two acres of land. It was mainly established and maintained by members working at F.C.I. Sindri which was a government P.S.U. After closure of F.C.I. in 1993, most of it's members left Sindri. Now, there are hardly three members left to take over the responsibility of it's protection, maintenance and other activites. We have confined ourselves to two sunday hawans only. We would like some acharya to join here and take charge of this unit. The place is suitable for gurukul, bridhashram, charitable hospital, etc.

We invite suggestions from you all.

i would say, why not ask students to help them in ther free time.

I think what they would really like is for someone empassioned about working towards the common good to come forth and take over the spiritual direction of their resources, engaging them in some sort of meaningful work. It is a pity to watch their facilities simply fall apart and vanish - especially when there is so much good that needs to be done.

Unfortunately, I don't see much you or I could do personally. But I posted this here in the hope that perhaps someone from that area might see it and feel inspired to do something.

Otherwise, it's good for a discussion. This isn't the only Arya Samaj institution that is falling apart out of lack of interest and/or mismanagement. I've read of whole libraries that are simply moulding away, no one reading the books anymore.
